Scope

This method specifies the hardness determination method for aircraft wheel brake materials. This method stipulates that the grinding degree of brake materials can be determined by the Brinell (HBS) or Rockwell (HRF) method. This method is suitable for sintered metal friction materials and cermet friction materials.
