Scope

This standard specifies the method for determining the effective heating zone of aerospace parts heat treatment furnaces. This standard is applicable to the determination of the effective heating area of box-type electric furnaces, pit-type electric furnaces, salt bath furnaces, vacuum furnaces and protective atmosphere furnaces for the heat treatment of aviation parts.
