Scope

This specification specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage general requirements for the development and production of air-to-air missile infrared fuzes (hereinafter referred to as fuzes). This specification applies to fuzes of various types of air-to-air missiles. Fuzes for other types of missiles can also be implemented with reference.
