- Scope
- This standard specifies a gas chromatography-mass spectrometry method for the determination of polychlorinated biphenyls in soil and sediments. This standard is applicable to the determination of 7 indicator PCBs and 12 coplanar PCBs in soil and sediments. Other PCBs can also be determined by this method if they pass validation. When the sampling volume is 10.0G and the selected ion scanning mode is used, the method detection limit of PCBs is 0.4~0.6UG/KG, and the lower limit of determination is 1.6~2.4UG/KG. See Appendix A for details.
