Scope
This standard specifies the specimens, test equipment, test procedures and test result processing for determining the high-temperature fatigue crack growth rate of metallic materials. This standard is applicable to the measurement of metal materials under constant amplitude load, single peak overload and cyclic holding load using compact tensile (CT) specimens or single-sided notched tensile (SENT) specimens under high temperature (below 1200°C) air environment conditions. Fatigue growth rate of long cracks and small cracks. This standard can use specimens other than those specified in the standard, but there must be an applicable stress velocity factor expression.
