- This standard specifies the equipment, equipment, measurement procedures, calculations, data processing and test reports for measuring toxic gases produced by the combustion of non-metallic materials inside the cabin of civil aircraft. This standard is applicable to the determination of the content of toxic gases—carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxides, sulfur dioxide, hydrogen cyanide, hydrogen fluoride, hydrogen chloride, etc.—produced by the combustion of non-metallic materials inside the civil aircraft cabin. This standard can be conducted simultaneously with the tests described in HB 6577 Smoke density test method for non-metallic materials inside civil aircraft cabins.
