This standard specifies the principles and procedures for the preparation of accelerated equivalent test procedures for aero-engine plunger fuel pumps (including fuel pumps and regulators integrated into one). This standard is applicable to accelerated equivalent testing during development, trial production, batch delivery, life extension, design, and process improvement verification of integral hydrostatically supported plunger pumps whose failure type is fatigue or wear. The accelerated equivalent test run has the same effect as the full-life long-term test run in the factory.
