Scope

This specification specifies the technical requirements, test methods and inspection rules for the ammunition drive device of the crew emergency escape system (hereinafter referred to as the ammunition drive device). This specification applies to ammunition-driven devices such as detonation mechanisms, parachute guns, and cutters. This specification does not apply to projectile tubes.
