- This standard specifies the requirements for the design, calculation, materials and heat treatment, testing and identification of rotary plate fuel pumps in aircraft engine fuel and control systems. This standard is applicable to rotary plate fuel pumps (hereinafter referred to as oil pumps) with a cylindrical stator inner surface, four rotary plates and a floating central axis. It can also be used as a reference for designing similar oil pumps.
