- Scope
- This standard specifies the series and main parameters of mechanical seals for kettles. This standard applies to steel reactor stirring shafts and similar vertical rotating shaft mechanical seals. Its working parameters are: the medium pressure in the reaction kettle is 1.33×10^(5) (absolute pressure) ~ 6.3 MPa; the medium temperature is not greater than 350°C (when the medium temperature in the kettle is high, auxiliary measures should be added according to HG/T 2122 ); the outer diameter of the stirring shaft (or sleeve) is 30 to 220 mm; the rotation speed is not greater than 2m/s; the medium is various fluids except strong oxidizing acids and high-concentration alkali.
