- This standard specifies the nominal diameter, nominal pressure, flange type, connection size, sealing surface size and marking of steel pipe flanges (American system). This standard applies to steel pipe flanges and flange covers with nominal pressure PN from 2.0MPa (Class 150) to 42.0MPa (Class 2500). This standard also applies to valves, pumps, chemical machinery, pipeline accessories and equipment parts that use flanges as connection types.
