- Scope
- This standard specifies the technical requirements, testing, installation and use of materials, main parts of mechanical seals for kettles. This standard applies to stirrer shafts of carbon steel and stainless steel reactors and similar vertical rotating shaft mechanical seals. The mechanical seal of the reaction kettle is suitable for medium pressures of 1.33 ); the outer diameter of the stirring shaft (or sleeve) is 30 mm to 220 mm; the rotation speed is not greater than 2m/s; the medium is various fluids except strong oxidizing acids and high-concentration alkali.
