This standard specifies the bubbling pressure test method of filter elements for magnetic slurry filtration. This method is a simple method to indirectly evaluate the filtration performance of the filter element. It can be used as a routine test for the quality of the filter element. When the particle passing method is used to determine the filtration accuracy, this test method can be used to measure the bubbling pressure value and represent the filtration accuracy. This standard applies to filter elements for magnetic slurry filtration in the magnetic recording material industry, and also applies to filter elements for other liquid filtrations.
