- This standard sets limits on mine hoists and mining hoisting winches in terms of physical performance and intended use. The prescribed safety requirements address all hazards associated with mine hoists and mining hoisting winches. It applies to the hazards arising from each stage of the machine's life cycle specified in 3.11 of GB/T 15706.1-1995. This standard applies to single-rope winding mine hoists, multi-rope friction hoists and mining hoisting winches. This standard does not apply to JT-0.8 and 2JT-0.8 mining lifting winches and hydraulic winches.
