- Scope
- This standard specifies the design and manufacturing technical requirements, test methods and inspection rules for centrifugal compressors and auxiliary equipment, as well as packaging, transportation, etc. This standard applies to centrifugal compressors transporting air or other gases. This standard does not apply to ventilators and blowers with a gas pressure boost value lower than 34kPa, nor does it apply to the integral gear speed-increasing assembled centrifugal compressor for instrument air in general refineries referred to in the JB 4113 standard. The seller may provide alternative designs (see 7.1.1.13 for a list of differences). Equivalent imperial dimensions, fasteners and flanges may also be used by agreement between buyer and seller. If this standard conflicts with the ordering contract, the conflicting part shall be subject to the provisions of the ordering contract.
