- This standard specifies the welding process assessment and welder skill assessment of corrosion-resistant ultra-low carbon Cr-Ni-Mo austenitic stainless steel pipes and tube sheets for urea high-pressure equipment (mainly carbon dioxide stripping towers, high-pressure condensers, and high-pressure scrubbers) Basic principles, test methods, and inspection requirements. Through welding procedure qualification or welder skill qualification, welding equipment and welding materials are also proven to meet the usage requirements. This standard only applies to tungsten filler wire argon arc welding (GTAW) and electrode arc welding (SMAW, generally only used for equipment maintenance).
