Scope
This standard specifies three methods for determining the ozone resistance of hose outer coatings. Method 1: Applicable to hoses with an inner diameter of less than 25 mm (including 25 mm), and use the hose itself to conduct the test; Method 2: Applicable to hoses with an inner diameter greater than 25 mm, use a sample cut from the hose wall to conduct the test ; Method 3: Applicable to hoses with an inner diameter greater than 25 mm. Test with a sample cut from the outer covering of the hose. Usually methods 1 and 2 are used. Method 3 should be used only if testing according to method 2 cannot be performed. Although the hose outer cover material tested is the same and the degree of vulcanization is the same, the results of testing according to method 1 may differ from the results obtained by testing according to methods 2 and 3. The test method used should be in accordance with the product standard. Regulation. Note: For hoses with buried pipe joints that cannot be sampled, their ozone resistance can be tested according to GB/T 7762 using samples made of corresponding polymer ingredients with the same degree of vulcanization.
