- This standard specifies the requirements, sampling, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage requirements for Sulfide Dark Yellow 2R (CI Sulfide Yellow 2). This standard applies to sulfurized deep yellow 2R produced by the formylation reaction of 2,4-diaminotoluene and formic acid to generate 2,4-diformamidotoluene, which is then vulcanized. This product is mainly used for dyeing cotton textiles.
