- This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, labels, packaging, transportation and storage of industrial calcium nitrite. This standard is applicable to the preparation of industrial calcium nitrite by the reaction of calcium oxide and nitrogen oxide gas. This product is mainly used as cement additives, rust inhibitors, antifreezes, heavy oil detergents, lubricating oil emulsifiers and other raw materials. Molecular formula: Ca(NO|(2))|(2) or Ca(NO|(2))|(2)·4H|(2)O Relative molecular mass 1132.09 or 204.15 (according to the 1995 international relative atomic mass)
