- This standard specifies the requirements, sampling, test methods, inspection rules and signs, labels, packaging, transportation and storage of sulfide blue 4G (sulfide blue CV, CI sulfide blue 15). This standard applies to sulfide blue 4G, which is prepared by condensation of p-aminophenol and mixed Cleavian acid and then vulcanization and oxidation with sodium polysulfide. It is mainly used for dyeing cotton textiles.
