- This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation and storage of zinc stearate. This standard applies to zinc stearate produced by the reaction of industrial stearic acid and zinc compounds. This product is widely used as lubricant and release agent for rubber products; stabilizer, lubricant, release agent and dispersant for plastic processing, and paint flattening agent.
