- This standard specifies the terms and definitions, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of bimetallic waterproof thermostats for household appliances (hereinafter referred to as: waterproof thermostats). This standard only applies to bimetallic waterproof thermostats for household appliances with resistive load circuits with a rated voltage not exceeding AC 250 V/50 Hz-60 Hz or DC 36V and a rated current not exceeding 16A.
