Scope

This part of GB/T20671 specifies the classification method, code definition, thickness requirements and measurement methods, sampling, and sample adjustment of non-metallic gasket materials. This part applies to materials made of asbestos, cork, cellulose and other inorganic or organic materials combined with various bonding agents or impregnating agents, not applicable to rubber product materials, gasket coating materials or multi-layer composite gaskets materials, but the surface layer single-layer materials of multi-layer composite gasket materials are also applicable to this classification system.
