This standard specifies the product classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and markings, packaging, storage, etc. of various colors of epoxy ester drying electrophoretic paints. This standard is applicable to the addition reaction of epoxy resin with dry oil fatty acid and then addition reaction with maleic anhydride (or an appropriate amount of alkyd resin modified by dry oil fatty acid and phenolic resin) is added. A water-soluble epoxy ester neutralized with amines as a cosolvent, and an electrophoretic paint prepared by grinding the resin liquid and various pigments. The paint is constructed by electrophoresis. After drying, the paint film has good adhesion, mechanical properties, anti-corrosion and water resistance. It is suitable for use as a primer on ferrous metal surfaces or as a topcoat on non-decorative interior surfaces.
