Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation and storage of internal combustion engine oil baths and oil-immersed air filter elements. This standard applies to filter elements made of fine steel wire and filter elements made of foam plastic used in internal combustion engine oil baths and oil-immersed air filters.
