Scope: 1.1 Subject content This standard stipulates the product warranty program requirements of the Navy for the manufacturer. It is the basis for the manufacturer to formulate a product warranty program before the development and production of products ordered by the Navy. 1.2 Scope of application This standard applies to all types of conventional weapons and equipment of the Navy. Naval strategic weapons and equipment can also be used for reference. 1.3 Application Guide When determining the product warranty outline requirements according to this standard, you should refer to the "Applicability" column of Appendix B (Table B1), tailor it according to the product characteristics, and mark the selected guarantee elements in Appendix A (Table A11).
