Scope

This standard specifies the requirements for the manufacture and acceptance of thread grinders. This standard applies to mobile thread grinders, universal thread grinders, and screw grinders with a maximum workpiece diameter of 50 to 500 mm and a maximum workpiece length of 500 to 5000 mm.
