Scope

1.0.1 These regulations mainly stipulate the sulfuric acid and phosphate fertilizer industrial wastewater treatment processes, equipment, selection and preparation of neutralizing agents, and the design of wastewater treatment stations. 1.0.2 These regulations apply to the industrial wastewater treatment design of new construction, expansion, reconstruction and technical transformation projects in the sulfuric acid and phosphate fertilizer industries. 1.0.3 For expansion, reconstruction and technical transformation projects, the original buildings (structures) and processing devices and other facilities should be fully utilized. 1.0.4 When designing industrial wastewater treatment for sulfuric acid and phosphate fertilizers, we should work closely with the process professionals and adopt clean production processes to improve the water reuse rate, reduce wastewater discharge and pollution to water bodies, and save water resources. 1.0.5 Various treatment methods listed in these regulations have certain applicable conditions. The design should be based on the wastewater volume and quality, combined with the specific conditions of the project and national and local environmental protection regulations, and determined after technical and economic comparison. 1.0.6 For the dilute sulfuric acid produced in the sulfuric acid industry and the fluosilicic acid produced in the phosphate fertilizer industry, comprehensive utilization plans should first be considered. The wastewater and waste liquid generated after comprehensive utilization should be treated again. The dilute sulfuric acid and fluorosilicic acid that cannot be comprehensively utilized should be treated and discharged after reaching the discharge standards. 1.0.7 The wastewater treatment project should be designed, constructed and put into operation at the same time as the main project. 1.0.8 In addition to complying with these regulations, the design of sulfuric acid and phosphate fertilizer industrial wastewater treatment should also comply with the current relevant national standards and regulations.
