- 1.0.1 In order to ensure the design quality of chemical building protective coating, these regulations are specially formulated. 1.0.2 This regulation applies to the coating design of structural parts of chemical production buildings and structures that use paint for fire protection or anti-corrosion protection. 1.0.2.1 Fire retardant coating design is applicable to the surface protection of the following components: (1) Steel components or prestressed concrete components that need to increase the fire resistance limit but are not suitable for using concrete or mortar materials for fire protection; (2) need to improve the fire resistance Performance flammable decorative materials. 1.0.2.2 Anti-corrosion coating design is suitable for surface protection of the following components or parts: (1) Superstructure components acted upon by corrosive media such as gas or dust; (2) Foundations and floors acted upon by corrosive liquids or solids , dado, pool trough and other parts. 1.0.3 Anti-corrosion coatings should be of the varieties listed in these regulations. If coatings other than those specified are used, they should be identified by relevant departments and have good performance proven by engineering practice. Fire retardant coatings must be products that have been certified by the nationally designated monitoring agency and have a provincial production license. 1.0.4 The coating design of chemical building should include: coating name and model, coating matching, coating thickness, color and rust removal level, etc. 1.0.5 In addition to complying with these regulations, the design of fireproof or anti-corrosion coatings should also comply with relevant current national standards and specifications.
