- 1.1.1 This standard applies to the design, manufacture, inspection and acceptance of mechanical mixing equipment in chemical, petrochemical and other similar devices. 1.1.2 This standard does not apply to the following mixing equipment: 1.1.2.1 Stirring equipment heated by direct flame; 1.1.2.2 Stirring equipment subject to radiation. 1.1.3 This standard does not include fatigue analysis methods for mixing equipment that require fatigue analysis.
