Scope

This standard specifies the manufacturing and acceptance requirements for boiler pressure-bearing gray iron castings. This standard is applicable to fixed hot water boilers and gray cast iron pressure-bearing castings (hereinafter referred to as castings) with rated steam pressure not greater than 2.4MPa and rated steam temperature not greater than 230 degrees.
