- This standard specifies the commonly used text symbols (hereinafter referred to as text symbols) used to label power system relays, protection and sub-animation status, product diagrams, anodes and technical documents. This standard applies to the preparation of electrical and technical documentation for power system relays, protection and support products to indicate the name, function, status or characteristics of electrical equipment, devices and components. This standard does not apply to the model preparation and naming of electrical products.
