- This standard specifies the basic parameters, technical requirements and test methods of optical mechanical micrometer devices (hereinafter referred to as devices). This standard applies to line and angular value optical-mechanical micrometer devices for use in optical metrology instruments. Micrometer devices not suitable for autocollimation systems. This standard must be quoted in product technical standards, order contracts or other documents. When necessary, the terms of the required reference parts can be written into product technical standards and other documents.
