- 1.1 This standard specifies the requirements for the design (including rule design and analysis design, the same below), manufacture, assembly and welding, inspection and acceptance of steel spherical storage tanks (hereinafter referred to as “spherical tanks”). 1.2 This standard is applicable to the design pressure not greater than 6.
