- This standard specifies the parameters of spiral bevel gear milling machines, rough cutting machines and gear pulling machines. This standard applies to newly designed spiral bevel gear milling machines, rough cutting machines and gear broaching machines processed by hobbing and forming methods. This standard adopts a spiral bevel tooth type whose longitudinal tooth shape is an arc line and shrinks proportionally along the tooth length.
