Scope

This standard specifies the type, basic parameters and dimensions, technical requirements, inspection rules and test methods as well as marking, packaging and quality assurance period of small unidirectional synchronous generators driven by reciprocating internal combustion engines. This standard applies to small single-phase synchronous generators driven by reciprocating internal combustion engines with a rated frequency of 50Hz. If each series of generators has additional requirements that are not specified in this standard, or if there are special requirements in certain clauses of this standard, supplementary provisions should be made in the enterprise standards.
