Scope
This standard is mainly used for acceptance testing of power station turbine speed control systems. The speed control system includes a speed regulation system and an overspeed protection system. For other types of steam turbines, it can also be used as a reference. The purpose of the steam turbine speed control system acceptance test is to verify the standards cited in the manufacturer's warranty. Generally, this test is performed to verify compliance with the requirements of the IEC 60045-1 standard. It includes: a) Steady-state speed adjustment rate (speed droop); b) Steady-state local speed adjustment rate (local speed droop); c) At no load, the speed range corresponding to the upper and lower limits of the synchronizer; d ) The dead zone (slow rate) of the speed control system; e) The stability of the speed control system; f) The maximum instantaneous increase in speed when part of the load is shed under the control of the speed control system; g) The setting of the emergency breaker; h) The highest instantaneous overspeed after the full load is removed when the speed control system fails. The selection of tests to be performed and other test procedures covered by this standard shall be agreed between the purchaser and the manufacturer.
