- Scope
- This standard specifies the basic requirements for the type, basic parameters, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging and storage of motor-driven centrifugal chillers. This standard applies to centralized air conditioning or process chilled water units with a cooling capacity of 348.8kW or more. It is also suitable for units that dissolve chemical additives in the water to prevent freezing caused by low outdoor temperatures. Units driven by engines (diesel engines or gas engines) or turbine engines (steam turbines or gas turbines) can refer to this implementation. This standard does not apply to drinking water, beverages and industrial-specific units that do not use water as refrigerant.
