- This standard specifies the design and calculation of cylindrical helical compression springs with circular cross-sections for hydraulic parts. This standard is applicable to the design and calculation of equal-pitch hydraulic springs whose material diameter is not greater than 10mm, the winding ratio is generally not less than 3, and the number of effective turns is generally not less than 2 turns.
