Scope

This standard specifies the integrity requirements and inspection and evaluation methods for filament primary winding machines. This standard applies to E-3 and DR type primary winding machines for electron guns for black and white picture tubes. Other types of primary winding machines can also be implemented with reference. This standard does not apply to primary filament winding machines for electron guns for color picture tubes.
