- This standard specifies the technical requirements for wire and cable tube twisting equipment. This standard is applicable to the JG series tubular stranding machine for stranding wire and cable conductors and the CG series cable forming machine for stranding wire and cable cores. This standard should be used together with JB/T 5818.1-91 "Technical Requirements for Wire and Cable Stranding Equipment Part 1 General Provisions". The technical requirements for CG series and JGB type products are yet to be determined.
