- This standard specifies the suction pressure, discharge pressure, volumetric flow rate and air supply volume under standard conditions of positive displacement natural gas compressors used in the petroleum industry. This standard is applicable to the selection of basic parameters of compressors used for gas gathering and export, oil and gas processing, dry gas injection and storage, gas lift oil production, gas injection, and crude oil stabilization.
