- This standard specifies the reagents, equipment, procedures for preparing calibration solutions for ion-selective electrode measurements, and the uncertainty of the solutions. This standard applies to the manufacture and preparation of calibration solutions for sodium ion, chloride ion, fluoride ion, nitrate ion selective electrodes and ammonia gas sensing electrodes. This standard also applies to the preparation of corresponding ion concentration meter calibration solutions.
