Scope

This standard specifies the general technical conditions for welding parts without special requirements in product drawings or design documents. This standard applies to steel welding parts welded by manual arc welding, gas shielded welding and submerged arc welding in heavy machinery and parts. Any special requirements for welding parts should be noted in the product drawing or process document.
