- This standard specifies the classification, technical requirements and test methods of grease for optical instruments made from high-quality mineral oil or synthetic oil as base oil and added with various additives. This standard applies to the grease used for the lubrication and sealing of extreme pressure parts, rolling and sliding parts with different gaps, and dustproofing of the inner wall during the manufacturing, use and maintenance of optical instruments.
