This standard specifies the environmental conditions and severity levels for use of outdoor and indoor anti-corrosion electrical products. This standard applies to anti-corrosion electrical products. Corrosive gases, acid, alkali and salt mist exist in the production, processing, manufacturing and on-site environment of chemical industry, petroleum, metallurgy, light industry, medicine, textile, building materials, electric power, machinery, etc. Or places with liquids, dust and environmental factors such as humidity or high temperature, environmental conditions suitable for anti-corrosion electrical products can be proposed according to the severity levels specified in this standard. Note: "Outdoor" refers to a place without climate protection, which refers to a place without protection against the climatic effects of the product. "Indoor" refers to a place with climate protection, which refers to a place with protection that can completely or partially eliminate direct climate effects on the product. The environmental conditions for use in the industry standards for various anti-corrosion electrical products should comply with the provisions of this standard. If this standard does not provide for it, it shall be stipulated by the industry standards for each product.
