- This standard specifies the series and basic parameters of wire and cable cabling equipment. This standard is applicable to equipment for twisting rubber-insulated, plastic-insulated and paper-insulated wires and cable cores. This standard does not apply to cable core element stranding equipment, which should be specified in another divisional standard.
