- This standard specifies the terminology, symbols, product classification, technical requirements, test methods, acceptance rules and marking, packaging, storage and transportation requirements for cast iron piston rings of reciprocating piston compressors. This standard applies to piston rings with a basic diameter less than 30mm and 210 to 1000mm. Piston rings with a basic diameter of 30 to 200mm adopt internal combustion engine piston rings (GB 1149).
