- This standard specifies the terminology, classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of photoelectric switches. This standard applies to photoelectric switches used in industrial control circuits with AC rated voltage not exceeding 220 (280) V, frequency 50 Hz, and DC rated voltage not exceeding 60 V. Note: The voltage values in brackets are not recommended.
