- Scope
- This standard specifies the characteristics, technical requirements, test and inspection rules, etc. of marine low-voltage fuses and their components (fuse base, fuse-carrying parts, fuse links). This standard applies to fuses equipped with enclosed current-limiting fuse links with a rated breaking capacity of not less than 6kA. This fuse is used for circuit protection on ships and offshore devices with rated AC voltage not exceeding 690V and rated DC voltage not exceeding 1000V. This standard does not apply to miniature fuses.
